What is covered as Standard in Monthly Charges:
Secure Hosting and Maintenance
The Mailermatic administration and database are all stored in our secure
and reliable Securio Server Environment. The server is constantly monitored
and all data and application files are backed-up weekly and stored off-site.
The monthly hosting charge covers the reliability and up-keep of the server
environment and, in the event of a system failure on the part of Datapartners,
all technical issues will be covered.
Global Enhancements
As standard, all users of Mailermatic will also be given a Wishlist to
add suggestions for improvements, new features that they would like to
see or any bugs that may occur. Datapartners will review all suggestions
submitted and action all those appropriate and deemed to be an improvement
to the overall product that will benefit all customers. Datapartners can
give no guarantees to timescales for items submitted through the wishlist
and will not guarantee that all items submitted will be actioned.
For items that can be carried out but are deemed bespoke, the customer will be notified of any additional charges and will need to confirm in writing that they wish to go ahead with the changes.
Telephone/Email Support
Datapartners offer basic telephone and email support for the administrators
of Mailermatic on matters only directly related to the Mailermatic product.
Weekly Data Backup
All of your saved emails, images, articles, campaigns, stats and email
groups are backed up on a weekly basis as part of your monthly hosting
What is Not covered as Standard in Monthly Charges:
Bespoke Enhancements and Modifications
Due to the nature of the Mailermatic product being a global (shared) product,
there are limitations as to what is feasible in terms of modifications.
Any requirements made by a specific customer that would fall outside the
scope of the nature of the shared environment cannot be carried out. It
is at the discretion of Datapartners to ascertain what changes can be
made. Any feasible changes that are specific to a customer will be quoted
for separately.
Support for Customers of Your
Mailermatic
Support is only given for Datapartners customers and their respective
administrators. No support can be given directly to customers targeted
by your email campaigns. In the event of a customer contacting the Mailermatic
administrators, the request must come from the administrator to Datapartners.
In the event that a recipient contacts Datapartners directly, our technical
support staff will contact the relevant administrator of Mailermatic.
Datapartners will not be held responsible for any misuse of the system
by Mailermatic administrators.
Spam/Blacklist Prevention
It is the responsibility of the Mailermatic administrators to ensure that
their emails conform to an accepted standard. Datapartners can only provide
basic guidance for preventing emails from being flagged as spam or added
to a blacklist. Datapartners cannot provide any further service unless
agreed at an additional cost.
Support Relating to your Internet
Connection
Limited support can only be given to your internet connection if your
Broadband service is provided by us. In the event that you cannot get
access to the internet, you must contact your Internet Service Provider
(ISP) directly. Support will only be given if the lack of internet access
is limited to the Mailermatic product itself. In most cases, Datapartners
will be made aware of any interruptions to service through automatic alerts.
Technical Information:
Server Setup
Mailermatic is hosted in the Datapartners Securio Server Environment and
is part of the global Datapartners infastructure. The Mailermatic module
is built using Datapartners code and many of the related object oriented
modules using the Scoped Schema Methodology. As a result, it is impossible
for Mailermatic to work outside its natural environment. In the event
of a customer wanting to migrate the service, all that can be migrated
is the Customer Database. An administration charge will be applied and
no technical support can be given.
The Legal Stuff:
Intellectual Copyright
The concept, name (dp.Mailermatic) and code are all sole property of Securio
Ltd trading as Datapartners. No aspect of the product can be replicated
without prior, written consent of Datapartners.
Termination of Agreement
Datapartners reserves the right to terminate a Mailermatic licence at
any time. A notification period of 15 working days will be given in writing.
In the event of a client wishing to sever the agreement, a 30 day notification
must be given in writing. As mentioned above, in the event of a severence
on the part of the client, an administration charge (£75 + VAT)
will be applied for the release of the database and any associated files
created by the client. The Mailermatic module itself cannot
be released.
